Before Resident Evil 2 Came Out, Capcom Was Working on Resident Evil 1.5

I agree that the title Resident Evil 1.5 is not catchy at all, but that’s exactly what Capcom had in mind when they were coming up with an idea for a sequel.  Resident Evil 1.5 was a very different game when it was in the development stages. For example  the character models were different, zombies behaved different, it was essentially a totally different game. It even had RPG style equipment that would increase your defense and stats.
