There is always something creepy about shadowy figures in the distance, because, they give off this creepy vibe. In Super Mario Galaxy the player can be treated some weird stuff in the game, in one level if you switch to first-person view and look in a certain direction, you can see indistinguishable figures standing at the edge of the galaxy. These figures are always there in that level, you cannot go near them, they just look at you, and no-one in the entire game will ever mention them.
