Fallout has been a massive success for Amazon Prime, while the show’s success has also resulted in resurgent sales and player numbers for Bethesda’s Fallout games. Last week, it was reported that the show had had more than 5 million views in its first full week, racking up over 2.5 billion hours of collective watch time. Now, updated figures have been revealed.
It’s been confirmed that the Fallout show has had more than 65 million viewers in its first 16 days. As per Deadline, that’s the second-most views an Amazon Prime show has had in a 16-day timeframe to date, and the most since The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power in 2022.
Within a 16-day timeframe, Fallout is also Amazon Prime’s most-viewed show to date within the 18-34 demographic, while it’s also the platform’s most viewed title globally, with 60 percent of its viewership coming from outside of the United States. In particular, France, the UK, and Brazil have drawn in significant numbers.
A little over a week after Fallout premiered, Amazon announced that a second season had been officially greenlit.
