Brain-Dead Enemy AI
Lackluster enemy variety is bad enough but Anthem doesn’t even make up for it by bolstering their intelligence. Sometimes, enemies will just stand around and let you empty clips of bullets into their skulls. Other times they’ll be extremely accurate, bringing you to down to one HP with no effort. But honestly, the biggest issue is that instead of programming some actual tactics at higher difficulties, Anthem’s enemies simply have more health and can one shot you. But hey, just take cover frequently and you’ll be fine. Iron Man simulator? Let’s not get crazy here.
