Assassin's Creed Valhalla - Dawn of Ragnarok (2)

In its 15th-anniversary celebration stream for Assassin’s Creed, Ubisoft announced a new mode coming to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla later this year. It’s called the Forgotten Saga and sees players venturing into Niflheim for a series of runs. The mode is inspired by rogue-lites and seemingly requires the Dawn of Ragnarok expansion.

Later this year, the final episode of Eivor’s story will be added as a free chapter for all players. A standalone version of Discovery Tour: Viking Age, which allows for learning more about the Vikings and Saxons in a non-violent setting, is also out today. It will be available for Xbox, PlayStation, Amazon and Google Stadia.

Finally, a special event will be held in September to talk about the future of Assassin’s Creed. Perhaps we’ll learn more about various rumored titles like Assassin’s Creed Rift and Assassin’s Creed Nexus along with the previously announced Assassin’s Creed Infinity. Stay tuned in the meantime for more details.
