Atomic Heart’s launch is right around the corner, and ahead of its long-awaited release, developer Mundfish and publisher Focus Entertainment have continued to roll out new details on the open world FPS RPG. Recently, the latter also took to Twitter to reveal details on the difficulty modes that will be available in the game.

Atomic Heart will let players choose between three difficulty levels- Peaceful Atom, which is the easy mode, Local Malfunction, which is the default difficulty setting, and Armageddon, which is the hardest of the three. The options are, of course, pretty standard, and one would assume players will be able to switch between the modes at any time, though that’s not something that’s been confirmed yet.

Curiously, Atomic Heart’s recently-leaked Trophy list also included mention of a Hardcore mode, though Focus Entertainment hasn’t listed that as one of the difficulty options. Presumably, Hardcore mode will be an unlockable mode for those who finish the game.

Atomic Heart is set to launch for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 21. Check out its PC requirements through here.
