Avatar Game Won’t Impact The Division’s Development – Massive

Massive also addresses micro-transactions.

Ubisoft Massive recently held a State of the Game for Tom Clancy’s The Division following yesterday’s maintenance and discussed some of the more pressing issues for the game.

It also acknowledged that the studio was indeed working on a game set in the universe of James Cameron’s Avatar. New employees were being sought for the same and the studio would expand but it was emphasized that Avatar is a different project from The Division with different teams. As such, development on Avatar will not have an impact on The Division.

Massive also addressed the recent micro-transactions added. It was aware that players didn’t find them popular but reiterated that only vanity items would be sold there. Players could purchase them if they so chose and prices were up for debate so players could offer feedback if they find items to be too expensive.
