Google Stadia Connect kicked off with the confirmation of Baldur’s Gate 3. Lichs and terror reign supreme in the announcement trailer. However, perhaps more important is that Larian Studios is indeed developing the long-awaited sequel. Check it out below.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is touted as the “biggest game” that Larian has created (which involved tripling the studio’s size). CEO Swen Vincke says it’s turning out beautifully and believes it warrants the resourcest. Baldur’s Gate 3 will be coming to Google Stadia though it will likely be coming to PC as well.
Larian Studios is known for the Divinity series. It achieved contemporary commercial success with the Divinity: Original Sin series. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is the developer’s most recent title, releasing in 2017 to stellar critical acclaim on PC before coming to Xbox One and PS4.
