Bandai Namco Europe has been announced as an official partner for Gamescom 2022, which takes place from August 24th to 28th. It joins the likes of Ubisoft, though what it will showcase remains to be seen.

In terms of upcoming projects, there are quite a few to look forward to from the Elden Ring, Scarlet Nexus and Tales of Arise publisher. Team-based competitive shooter Gundam Evolution could receive some new gameplay along with a release date – it’s still to launch later this year. Then there’s One Piece Odyssey, a turn-based role-playing game based on the super-popular series with an original story by author Eiichiro Oda.

The fighting game JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R could also make an appearance since it releases on September 2nd. Who knows? We may even see Dragon Ball: The Breakers, the asymmetrical multiplayer survival game, get a release date since it’s also slated for this year. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
