Capybara Games’ Nathan Vella recently spoke at a session today about upcoming XBLA title Super TIME Force but spared a bit of time at the end to talk about their upcoming Xbox One exclusive Below.

Vella confirmed that the studio had gotten their hands on an Xbox One dev kit back in February. As for whether any bottlenecks were noticed in the hardware, specifically in the use of ESRAM, Vella responded that, “Look, we’re not pushing polygon counts like a lot of the big devs. We’re likely not taking the hardware to it’s breaking point with Below. It took us quite a while to make our way through all of the documentation, but we’ve really enjoyed working on the Xbox One platform. We’ve had no ESRAM bottlenecks.”

A rogue-like adventure title with brutal combat, Below is currently a timed exclusive for the Xbox One whose release date is still to be announced.
