Thomas Happ’s unexpected sequel to the retro Metroidvania classic launches first for the Switch. Set before and also somehow after the first game, Axiom Verge 2 offers new abilities, new environments, pretty much new everything. It sees Globe 3 conglomerate owner Indra discovering a strange new world as mysterious voices call out to her. What does it all mean? We’ll find out later this year.
