Call of Duty Black Ops 6

Game Pass is going to get unquestionably its biggest release ever when Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 releases for the service day and date this October, though not every subscriber is going to get the entire experience, as it turns out. As part of a lengthy blog post, Activision has detailed exactly what elements of the upcoming first-person shooter will be available to Game Pass subscribers based on which tier of the service they’re subscribed to.

For starters, as previously reported, those who are subscriber to Xbox Game Pass Core won’t have access to any of the game at all. Meanwhile, those subscribed to the base Xbox Game Pass tier on Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S consoles will have access to the single-player campaign, but if you want to also jump into the Multiplayer and Zombies modes, you’re going to need to either purchase an additional Xbox Game Pass Core subscription, or upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Speaking of which, those subscribed to both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass are going to have access to the full game- i.e. its single-player campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies.

Additionally, anyone subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, or PC Game Pass before Black Ops 6’s launch in October will get two pre-order bonuses in the form of early access for the open beta and the Woods Operator Pack.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launches on October 25 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It will require a persistent internet connection for all game modes, including the single-player campaign. Find out more about the game’s multiplayer component here and here.
