While rumors are already swirling around that 2021’s Call of Duty being a return to World War 2, for now we are fighting another war of yesterday with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and the battle royale mode running, Warzone. Now Season 2 is set for next week, and we got quite the preview of what to expect.
It was revealed that the season would begin on the 25th, and today Activision saw fit to release a gameplay trailer of what this season will look like. We will, of course, have new Operators, maps, modes, killstreaks, weapons all alongside a new Battle Pass. The biggest addition, though, seems to be the confirmation of the recently leaked large scale Zombies experience, called Outbreak, which looks to be the biggest Zombies adventure yet. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone are available now across most major platforms. Season 2 will begin across those platforms starting February 25th.
