Though it’ll be available to test with this weekend’s beta, Infinity Ward will host a livestream to showcase cross-play in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The stream starts at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET on Twitch today so check it out. Expect details on how exactly the feature works, even though we know you’ll be able to opt out of playing with certain players.

This reveal is one of many scheduled to take place in the weeks leading to launch. Later this month, we’ll finally see more footage of the campaign which hasn’t really been showcased since the initial reveal trailer. Next month will see Spec Ops, the co-op mode, showcased as well.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare releases on October 25th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The multiplayer open beta will continue for PS4 players on September 19th which is the same day that Xbox One and PC pre-orders can hop in. On September 21st to 23rd, all platforms can experience the open beta.
