2017 has come to an end, which means now we can definitively look back on the year and assess and analyze trends and data from it. Sony has done exactly that, sharing year wide PSN download sales charts for the previous year.
To no one’s surprise, Call of Duty: WW2 led the charts last year as the most downloaded game on the PS4; also to no one’s surprise, Destiny 2 came in second. PS4 exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn came in at fourth place (after Friday the 13th on third place), and is also the only exclusive game on the chart. On the other hand, the good news is that Star Wars Battlefront 2 doesn’t show up at all- so there’s that, at least.
You can check out the full download charts below- it gives me a measure of happiness that Persona 4 Golden still continues to chart on the PS Vita charts (albeit I don’t even know how many downloads that’s worth at this point).
