CD Projekt RED Gives Us Release Date For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, New Trailer Revealed

Along with a slew of other details.

At their press briefing earlier today, CD Projekt RED finally gave us an updated look at their highly anticipated (and sadly delayed) role playing game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, releasing next year for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. We finally have a more specific release date than that, though- and it is February 24, 2015. CDPR also detailed the game’s standard edition in their briefing.

In addition, we got a new trailer (see above), that shows us more about how the installment plans on ending the exciting and bloody story of Geralt of Rivia that it started all those years ago with the first Witcher game, and continued with 2010’s highly acclaimed The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. CD Projekt RED reaffirmed its commitment to having absolute parity across all three systems the game is appearing on, noting that they will not play favorites, and offer the same game and 100 hour plus content on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the final installment in CD Projekt RED’s Witcher trilogy of video games. We may be seeing more of it at E3 this year, so stay tuned.
