While it’s fair to say I expected a good deal from Remedy Entertainment, I’ll admit I was surprised by just how good Control ended up being. A hodgepodge of previous ideas and themes from the developer’s older titles, the game is a fantastic journey into the surreal. And the journey continues on as new free features are coming soon.

As announced via the official PlayStation blog, photo mode will be coming tomorrow and will allow you to take pictures and alter them with various filters and editing options. Later in the year we’ll get the Expeditions Mode, another free update that will see you go through various challenge missions with modifiers that will test even the strongest directors.

Control is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The photo mode will be available October 16th, with the Expeditions Mode coming in December. Both of those will be free, with the game’s paid season pass content coming at the beginning of 2020.
