Control is shaping up to be a pretty weird game. In some ways it’s an amalgamation of developer Remedy’s previous catalog of titles, but it’s also very much its own thing. Nothing shows that more than a new side mission we got to see today that shows off the game’s bizarre side.

Via IGN, we got to look at an entire side mission in a new 17 minute video. Jesse finds herself in a creepy environment filled with alien plant life and things going in an unexpected direction. You can check it out below. It also shows off some of the combat, as well as some of the dialog that seems off and weird, something that’s been highlighted before.

Control will release on August 27th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out our interview with the developers of the game here. Those playing on PC can also get an idea of what kind of rig they’ll need to run the game.
