Remedy Entertainment recently officially wrapped up development on their upcoming weird metroidvania action-adventure tile Control, and we’ve been getting to see a lot of it as we approach its imminent release. We were just now treated to an incredible looking story-focused trailer, and now, courtesy of IGN, we have 8 minutes of gameplay footage showing a main story mission from the game.

If you’ve seen a decent amount of Control footage before this, you can expect what sort of stuff you’re going to see in this video. Jesse’s abilities are on full display – from sending objects hurtling through the air at enemies to mind control – and we also get to see the capabilities of the form-changing and multi-functional Service Weapon during combat. The weird, creepy environments of the Oldest House are also looking as good as always, and the game’s art design and technical visual aspects continue to look impressive as well. Take a look below.

If you want even more gameplay footage, we recently also got over 17 minutes of footage from the game showing a complete side mission. Take a look through hereControl is out on August 27 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
