Control’s Cast Discusses Working on the Game at NYCC Comic Con Panel

It’s some pretty fascinating stuff into what’s going into the development of the game.

Remedy has always been known for making narratively interesting games, with a huge emphasis on storytelling, as well as strong characters. This is backed up with some excellent production values, including some great motion capture, as well as, of course, some interesting gameplay mechanics too.

The upcoming Control looks to be no different—and speaking at a panel during New York Comic Con, the cast of the game, which includes returning veterans from previous Remedy games such as Max Payne and Quantum Break, spoke about working on the game. They discussed voice work, motion capture, and even the game’s narrative, although naturally, don’t expect much, if anything, in the way of major spoilers here.

You can check out the cast talking about the game for yourself below. The panel also features none other than Same Lake chipping in and speaking about the game, and honestly, no one can get you excited about the possibilities of video game storytelling like he can.

Control launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2019.
