Crackdown 3 Will Not Have Zombies

It may get glide suits some time after launch, however.

Dave Johnson, senior art director on Crackdown 3 has confirmed at a discussion during E3 that zombies will not be returning in Crackdown 3, the upcoming third iteration in Microsoft’s open world action franchise.

For most fans, this is probably good news- zombies were widely despised in Crackdown 2, which was the game that introduced them in the first place. Fans will undoubtedly be happy to hear that this will not be a mistake that Crackdown 3 will be repeating this time around. Johnson also hinted that glide suits may be added to the game some time after launch.

“I wouldn’t say no; we’re always open to adding new things. I think it’s probably one of the things that will be added later if we do end up doing it,” he said.

Crackdown 3 is due out on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs exclusively on November 7 this year. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage coming right out of E3, as it happens.
