Developer Toys for Bob has confirmed that it will reveal Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time today at 8 AM PDT. This is the same time that the Summer Game Fest developer showcase will be taking place with host Geoff Keighley. The developer tweeted a short video of real-life crash encountering a rift in his TV before stating, “Official reveal > leaks, promise.”
Leaks for the game started a few days ago when its rating and box art emerged via the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee. Though Toys for Bob teased a reveal for today, images from the actual trailer would also crop up, showcasing new things like Coco’s redesign. The images also indicate a release date of October 9th.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be releasing for PS4 and Xbox One at least. We’ll have to stay tuned for actual gameplay details in the meantime. Toys for Bob previously worked on the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, a remake of the Insomniac’s Spyro the Dragon trilogy so it should be interesting to see them deliver a brand new title.
