Crash Bandicoot will be making his long awaited debut on PlayStation 4 and while this isn’t a brand new title, fans can look forward to some pretty hefty remastering of the previous three games.

Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy will feature the first three games (and thankfully none of the subsequent titles from developers other than Naughty Dog). The official trailer showcases the remastered visuals against the old retro look.

The difference is pretty staggering and it’s nice to see some effort being made to spruce up the old games rather than just repackaging them for PS4.

Like many of the games showcased at PlayStation Experience, Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy will be releasing in 2017. Exactly when is anybody’s guess but it’s certainly a step up from the simple tease seen last year.

What are your thoughts on the trilogy? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information from PlayStation Experience.
