Sony forms the ICE team which included the developers from top tier companies such as Naughty Dog and other first party studios. ICE stands for Initiative for a Common Engine which focuses on creating core graphics system including low level game engine components, graphics processing pipelines, supporting tools and much more. It goes without saying that ICE team’s feedback was pivotal to the overall development process.
