69. PS4 Japanese release date pegged for February 2014. PlayStation Vita TV and Japanese launch line-up also revealed.
Sony announced the release date and launch line-up for the PS4 in Japan. It revealed that the console would be available on February 22nd 2014 and would arrive with titles such as Knack, Killzone: Shadow Fall and the next game in Sega’s Yakuza series, Yakuza Ishin. It was a long wait for sure, but the event showcased that Sony wanted to cater to the Japanese gamer as much as possible. At this same event, Sony also announced the PlayStation Vita TV, which let you play Vita titles on your television, and the PlayStation Vita 2000, an upgrade over the handheld which was slimmer and better battery life.
