82. Azure, the Cloud computing solution used by the Xbox One, ranked as #1, beating out Amazon’s S3.
A recent survey had been revealed which stated that Microsoft’s Azure Blob Storage had bested Amazon S3 to be the leading Cloud computing solution in terms of performance, scalability and stability and proved to be a top performer in every category. This is keeping in mind that Azure is barely a year old or so and already managed to upset a long-standing competitor. It will be interesting to see how it measures up to Gaikai when it comes to functions such as game streaming and lifting the burden from the Xbox One’s hardware in terms of processing and rendering though.
