83. Rumours of Red Line of Death for PS4 begin circulating. Confirmed as false by Shuhei Yoshida.
A screenshot began doing the rounds online regarding the “Red Line of Death” on the PS4. This was apparently similar to the Xbox 360’s Red Ring of Death, a software defect that emerged when the system overheated and thus rendered the console useless. People started panicking and the news spread that the PS4 would be facing a similar kind of defect with the Red Line of Death. However, Shuhei Yoshida quickly confirmed the so-called “defect” as being false and little more than misleading information.
