91. Respawn Entertainment confirms that Titanfall is a lifetime exclusive for Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC but that rest of the series will come to other platforms.
Titanfall wowed everyone at E3 2013 and almost everyone wanted to play it. And of course everyone includes PlayStation fans who were hoping that Titanfall would come to all consoles. Respawn Entertainment revealed that Titanfall would be releasing on Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. Being a multiplayer-only title, the Xbox One’s 24 hours online authentication benefited the developer’s approach. When that went out the window and Respawn stating that it would be interested in developing for the PS4, there were rumours that Titanfall could indeed arrive on the PS4 by next year. Hopes were finally dashed when it was announced that Titanfall would be a lifetime exclusive for the Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC, but they were revived again when co-founder Vince Zampella revealed that this only applied to the first game in the series. The remaining Titanfall games would very much be on other platforms.
