With all the new details and gameplay that Cronos: The New Dawn, Bloober Team’s upcoming sci-fi survival horror, has received, it’s nice to sit down for a relatively calm developer interview. Of course, the team also has some decent tips to offer for those seeking to survive in the post-Change world. Check it out below.

While the campaign is described as “linear with moments of freedom,” there are plenty of moments to explore in Cronos. These can often yield different rewards but require going off the beaten path (which could mean danger). Another essential tip? Find the cats and pet them, since they’ll drop items. It’s odd, and I can’t help but feel like they have a greater purpose. Inventory management is also important, especially since you can carry a limited number of items.

We’ll have to find out what that is when Cronos: The New Dawn launches on September 5th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Check out the latest gameplay trailer from Gamescom Opening Night Live here and our feature for everything you should know.
