Between some survival tips and a new trailer at Opening Night Live, Bloober Team also dropped some more extensive gameplay for Cronos: The New Dawn. Game director Wojciech Piejko ventures into a factory post-Change, which is the “epicenter of the plague.” Check it out below.
Alongside the usual elements – disrupting Orphans attempting to merge, discovering resources and managing one’s inventory – we get to see several different weapons aside from the pistol and shotgun. There’s an SMG for more rapid-fire shots, and at one point, the Traveller equips a missile launcher. Some Orphans also possess armor, so either break it or aim at the exposed bits to kill them.
It’s also worth noting various isolation doors left by other Travellers to contain the infected. We also learn that the military set up tents in the area to fight the infection. These lay abandoned, and you’ll need to burn away the biomass to investigate.
