CyberConnect2 has developed quite a staple of games based on various anime/manga franchises. The most recent will be the RPG based on the legendary Dragon Ball manga, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, that will release at the beginning of next year. But we also heard not too long ago that the company is working on a mystery game.

In a video from Hiroshi Matsuyama, who revealed this game was in development, said that the secret game is a “dream” one and that we will be seeing pretty soon, though he gave no definitive time frame.

Whatever the game will be, it seems to be based on a pretty big established franchise. The company has worked in some form or fashion on a lot of big manga adaptations from Dragon Ball to One Piece to Naruto. The odds are good it’ll be something in that vein, though it could just as well be something out of left field. We’ll let you know whenever it finally shows up.
