In a new stream, CD Projekt RED confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077’s update 1.5 is coming for all platforms and will add support for Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Extensive gameplay footage of the game running on current-gen platforms has been released separately – check it out below in 4K/60 FPS.

The official descriptions confirm faster loading times, ray tracing support and 4K with “dynamic scaling.” There are also many other “visual and technical” improvements. The livestream is still ongoing and the development team is discussing other features in the update including revamped skill trees, improved NPC AI and better driving (including simulating ABS and adjusting first person view in some vehicles).

While CD Projekt RED didn’t explicitly state that update 1.5 would be going live today, Cyberpunk 2077 has been showing as Optimized for Xbox Series X/S. It’s likely that the update will roll out very soon, if not in the coming hours. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
