Dauntless

Phoenix Labs’ Dauntless, a Monster Hunter-style that’s free to play, will be moving from its standalone launcher to the Epic Games Store. Player save data will be tied to Epic Games accounts going forward and will allow for cross-play on all versions of the game. Cross-platform progression will also be supported, even on the upcoming Nintendo Switch version.

When this move will happen hasn’t been confirmed. Dauntless is currently in open beta for PC and is expected to release worldwide in April 2019. It will also be out for PS4 and Xbox One in the same month. Nintendo Switch and mobile versions are expected later.

Meanwhile, the Hunt Pass Season Two is currently live in the PC version. It’s available till March 13 and offers limited time rewards. You can avail of the Basic track for free, but spending 1,000 platinum will net you the Elite track for special transmogs, Ace chips, and so on. Stay tuned for more information on the title’s transition to Epic Games Store in the coming months.
