Classified Virus Research
Still not convinced? At one point in the game you come across a collectible called the Classified Virus Research Memo. The virus samples are outright codenamed “Syphon Filter”, the first strain was recovered in Ukraine (which was a location in the very first game) and agents Logan and Xing are referenced in the attached note. Now the real question is – what does the future hold for the world when the Syphon Filter virus has caused so much havoc? Who are the ones above O’Brian? If Days Gone ever receives a sequel, we’ll hopefully find out.
