Days Gone

Sony Bend’s upcoming open world survival action zombie game Days Gone has received a brand new gameplay video at the Tokyo Game Show (via DualShockers). The developers demoed the game with two polar opposite approaches, coming into the game with all guns blazing one time, and then showing off how stealth can be an equally, if not more so, viable option in the game.

While both options have been discussed before, and rather extensively at that, so none of this is really “new” for us per se. That said, it’s still interesting to see just how much each playthrough seems to differ each time, even if similar approaches are adopted. It looks like this will be a game that will give rise to loads of possibilities for emergent gameplay, which is something that I personally always appreciate.

The game also seems to be looking smoother and less janky compared to how it looked just a few months ago, so it seems as though development on it is coming along well. Days Gone launches February 22, 2019 for PS4.
