A bevy of new details have emerged on Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, from the game taking place in Mexico and Australia to its new weapons, combat and stealth, and more, all courtesy of a recent round of extensive hands-on media previews. With that, details have seemingly also emerged on how long the game is going to be.
Caught by Push Square, in its preview, Eurogamer says it played Death Stranding 2: On the Beach for 30 hours, which, according to Kojima Productions, is about 40 percent of the game’s main story. That would suggest that the game’s main story will be somewhere around 75 hours long in total- though of course, factors such as side content and open world exploration will likely make things quite variable. Either way, it certainly looks like Death Stranding 2 is going to be significantly longer than its predecessor.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is due out on June 26 for PS5.
