The themes of "connection" run heavy in these teasers.

Death Stranding is in line to receive- well, something very soon. The game will be receiving a new update tomorrow– whether that’s a gameplay reveal, an unlikely release date announcement, just another new story trailer, or something else entirely is anyone’s best guess. But before we get to find out whatever it will be tomorrow, Hideo Kojima has been dropping teases about it.

Kojima has released a new 30 second-long teaser through his Twitter page, which just shows the shapes of two hands in the backdrop of the slick black liquid we’ve seen so much of in Death Stranding trailers already, accompanied with the words “help us reconnect”. We got a similar teaser yesterday as well, and that one asked players to “create the rope”. The theme of connections is definitely running deep here.

It also feels like Kojima and Sony are counting down to the reveal tomorrow, with these cryptic teasers, and, well, yesterday’s announcement saying as much in as many words. Logic would dictate that they’re gearing up to reveal some important news- but logic often flies out the window where Hideo Kojima is concerned, so we can’t be too sure. Either way, stay tuned, and we’ll keep you updated.
