Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding is a game shrouded in mystery, which is a given, since its director is Hideo Kojima of Metal Gear Solid fame. This latest teaser does fall in line with Kojima teasing something new, though it does nothing to dispel the air of mystery. Check it out below and “Create the Rope.”

The teaser seems to indicate that a new trailer is coming soon. If so, it will be our first new glimpse at the game since Tokyo Game Show 2018. Debuting a new trailer in this fashion isn’t a bad idea, especially since Sony – who are publishing the title – won’t be at E3 this year.

Death Stranding is in development for PS4. There’s been no information about a release date, though Kojima noted that it was in a “key time” of development back in March. Concerns that it might be PlayStation 5-bound were allayed when Sony confirmed that Death Stranding – along with Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us: Part 2would still be coming to the PS4. As always, stay tuned for more information, and a possible new trailer.
