Hideo Kojima has been less than forthcoming with gameplay footage where Death Stranding is concerned, but it looks like the game will finally be in line for its big gameplay blowout, which we’ve all been waiting for for a long, long time. At Tokyo Game Show, across two panels, we’ll be seeing plenty of gameplay footage.
Recently, Kojima took to Twitter to share an update on that front. Alongside a picture of his computer screen, which shows him editing the gameplay trailer, Kojima dropped the information that the trailer in question which will be shown off will be a whopping 49 minutes long. That’s 49 uninterrupted minutes of footage, of which quite a bit has to be gameplay, one would imagine. Let’s just hope it shows more than Norman Reedus urinating and falling off cliffs.
Death Stranding is due out exclusively for the PS4 on November 8- but it looks like Kojima is already gearing up for his next game, with work on his current one not even having wrapped up yet. In other news, Death Stranding isn’t the only major upcoming PS4 exclusive in line for a major reveal this month. Sony will also be holding a media even for The Last of Us Part 2 later on in September.

While finishing up the game, I'm preparing for the TGS presentation by asking my team to gather the gameplay footage to edit by myself. As well as the script for the stage show. Now I am about to prepare the one for Saturday. It always goes like this until I die.
