Tango Gameworks’ GhostWire Tokyo wasn’t the only Bethesda-published title confirmed for PS5. Arkane Lyon’s Deathloop made an appearance and showcased its stylish gameplay. Check it out below and marvel at the stylish, slide-happy gunplay.

The story sees two assassins stuck in a time loop on Blackreef, an island full of prisoners. One assassin is tasked with killing eight targets. Standing in his way is a rival assassin who protects the island. You’ll experience the story from both perspectives, taking down various psychotic enemies and learning more with each death. Inevitably there will be a showdown but who comes out on top?

Deathloop will be releasing in holiday 2020 for PS5. It’s been confirmed that the game will launch as a console exclusive for the PS5, though we can at least expect a PC release as well. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months especially if Bethesda decides to share more in its own showcase. You can also expect more announcements and reveals from the PS5 showcase.
