Yesterday, Bungie revealed more information on Destiny 2’s upcoming Black Armory DLC, including the new Lost Forges, Golden Age weapons, and the new raid “Scourge of the Past”. It even updated its content calendar heading into 2019 to offer more insight into what’s coming next. Though these “premium content releases” won’t be too story-focused, that doesn’t mean they’re completely bereft of plot development.

For example, a new leaked cutscene (courtesy of Reddit user Ginsor) reveals the fate of a major character from past DLC. If you don’t want any spoilers, then it’s best to avoid it. However, given all the events that have taken place – the death of Riven, the Dreaming City’s curse cycle, and so much more – it’s interesting to see where the story could go next.

Destiny 2: Black Armory will release on December 4th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC players. The latest update for the game is currently live and introduces new items, Pinnacle Weapons, and much more as part of Season of the Forge. Weapon balance changes, including a nerf to the Trench Barrel perk on the IKELOS-SG shotgun, have also been implemented.
