Bungie’s latest Destiny 2 expansion, Forsaken, has been very well received by almost everyone, and is being called among the best Destiny-related content Bungie has ever put out. However, in spite of impressive digital sales in September, Activision recently announced that Forsaken’s sales have failed to live up to the expectations the publisher had internally set for it, which, according to them, might be due to a “wait and see” mentality by prospective purchasers.

According to Bungie’s Luke Smith, however, who’s the director of Destiny 2, Bungie themselves are “not disappointed” with Forsaken. Smith recently took to Twitter to respond to the recent news of Forsaken’s sales, saying that with Forsaken, Bungie have made a game that “players would love”, before adding, “we love it too”. He went on to reaffirm that Bungie will continue to build on and support Destiny 2, and that doing so is going to “remain our focus going forward”. You can check out his tweet below.

Bungie’s definitely been supporting Destiny 2: Forsaken quite well since its launch. In addition to a recent hefty patch that fixed several issues, and the Festival of the Lost event that recently ended, Iron Banner is also returning soon. Meanwhile, recent rumours have also said some pretty interesting stuff about a Destiny 3. Read more on that through here.
