Destiny 2 Forsaken Gambit

Destiny 2’s Forsaken DLC launches next week, and Bungie is going all out to promote it for PS4. Along with the base game being available through PlayStation Plus, PS4 players will receive an exclusive Strike with the DLC, called Broodhold. Check out the Strike below in its entirety, courtesy of PS Underground.

The Strike takes players into a Hive nest, which also has Fallen, thanks to the unique union between the Strike boss and a Fallen Baron. The footage showcases some of the new weapons, like the Exotic Trace Rifle Wavesplitter, along with the new Supers. The Dawnblade’s Well of Radiance, for instance, can both heal and buff allies that are within its radius for 30 seconds. We also get a look at the Sunbreaker Titan’s Throwing Hammer, which can be thrown and picked up for continuous ranged melee strikes.

Destiny 2: Forsaken is out on September 4th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. A pre-patch has already been released, which changes the weapon loadouts, buffs several abilities and weapons (along with a few nerfs here and there), and overhauls the time-to-kill in Crucible.
