Iron Banner returned earlier this week for Bungie’s Destiny 2 and, as usual, it attracted its share of annoyance. One criticism that Bungie is actually addressing right away surrounds the map selection. Only a handful of maps were available when the event launched.
Bungie recognizes this and has confirmed that starting today, there will be a “varying mix of both new and classic maps” in Iron Banner. Apparently the first two days were meant as an “intentional showcase” for the new Crucible maps. Look out for a hotfix to release later.
Destiny 2’s most recent expansion Shadowkeep has been out for a few weeks now, along with Season of the Undying. More content will be coming on October 29th with Festival of the Lost, which could see the return of the Haunted Forest from last year. Stay tuned for more details and in the meantime, check out our review of Shadowkeep here. Bungie has also started selling character boosters to get alternate characters up to 900 Power, but just check out our guide here for easy leveling instead.
