Destiny 2 Lightfall

Less than three weeks remain for the launch of Destiny 2’s next expansion, Lightfall. In its Q3 fiscal year 2022 financial results, Sony Group Corporation revealed that pre-orders were “steadily increasing” for the same.

No specific figures were revealed, but it remains to be seen if Lightfall can top The Witch Queen, last year’s expansion. The latter had over one million pre-orders about three weeks from launch and was tracking to be the most pre-ordered expansion in the game’s history.

Destiny 2: Lightfall is out on February 28th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC.  Bungie recently released a new trailer showcasing the new Strand sub-classes and their Supers. It also broke down the statuses, debuffs and buff that the element provides while detailing the different abilities, Aspects and Fragments each class gets.

Stay tuned for more details and gameplay en route to launch. In the meantime, check out our feature on the expansion here.
