Bungie debuted a new trailer for Destiny 2: Lightfall, focusing again on the new Strand sub-classes. As Osiris notes, Strand flows through everything and harnessing it allows for unraveling enemies. Check it out below.
The new sub-classes are Broodweaver (Warlock), Threadrunner (Hunter) and Berserker (Titan). The Broodweaver creates Threadlings from defeated enemies, which seek out other hostiles as sentient projectiles. The Threadrunners can throw a ricocheting knife and attack with a rope dart, creating area-of-effect damage.
The Berserker attacks with dual Strand blades, chopping up enemies and sending out Strand waves by deploying Barricade. They can also smash down, causing major damage. As with other sub-classes, various weapons can take advantage of Strand – check out the trailer here to see some of them in action.
