Bungie’s Destiny 2 is in the middle of Season of Plunder, which means players are grinding the Star Atlas, repeating the King’s Fall raid, and whatnot. A mid-season balance pass is in the works that should affect “both under and over-performing archetypes.”
Auto Rifles and Trace Rifles are getting a “sizeable stability bump” while Adaptive Frame and Precision Frame Pulse Rifles will get a “small buff” to critical hit damage. The effective range of Pulse Rifles is being slightly reduced at “low to mid stat values.” Exotics like Jade Rabbit and No Time to Explain are getting nerfs for their ease of use.
Other notable changes include a nerf to Glaive damage resistance, a small buff to Rocket Launcher blast radius, a rework for Sniper Rifle flinch, and much more. Check out the current list of changes below. A release date for the balance pass hasn’t been confirmed, but it should arrive sometime this month (perhaps to coincide with the arrival of Festival of the Lost). Stay tuned for full patch notes in the coming days.
