Season of the Lost arrived last week for Bungie’s Destiny 2 but it wouldn’t be a major update without some exploits cropping up. Case in point, Radiant Dance Machines (the Exotic boots for Hunters) and Wormgod Caress (Exotic gloves for Titans). The former was granting players the ability to dodge numerous times in a row while the latter meant you could deal extreme amounts of damage with throwing hammers.
Bungie has since disabled both Exotics. Radiant Dance Machines aren’t usable in Gambit and all PvP activities while Wormgod Caress is unusable for everything. It’s easy to see why – the former could throw Trials of Osiris into panic when the activity returns next week. Meanwhile, Wormgod Caress could trivialize some of the more difficult activities and lead to easy reward farming.
There’s no ETA on when both exploits will be fixed and the Exotics re-enabled so we’ll have to wait for more details. In the meantime, Bungie has outlined plans to buff the various Light subclasses, starting with the Void element. Check out more details for that here.
Due to an issue that allows Hunters to dodge an unintended amount of times in a row, we have temporarily disabled the Radiant Dance Machines Exotic Hunter leg armor in Gambit and all PvP activities.

Due to an issue where Titans could unintentionally do large amounts of damage with their throwing hammers, we have temporarily disabled the Wormgod Caress Exotic Titan gauntlets.
