Season of the Seraph went live just last week in Bungie’s Destiny 2, followed by a new Dungeon. But that’s not all, as The Dawning has returned. As a Christmas-like celebration, it sees players baking cookies and gifting items to various NPCs. Of course, there are new armor ornaments and cosmetics in Eververse, along with a new Event Card.
The Event Card offers challenges for earning a new emblem, shader and Exotic Ghost. Upgrading it with Silver grants a new emote, Exotic Sparrow, another Exotic Ghost, and much more. Completing all challenges in the Event Card also grants a new Seal and the “Star Baker” title.
For everyone else, there are snowballs in various activities that can be thrown at enemies, inflicting them with Stasis. There’s also the Stay Frosty PR7, a Legendary Pulse Rifle, to unlock. The Dawning is available in Destiny 2 until January 3rd, 2023. After that, the Lightfall expansion is out on February 28th. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
