With Season 14 coming next month and providing lots of new changes, not much is going on in Bungie’s Destiny 2. Xur is back and can be found in Watcher’s Grave on Nessus where he’ll remain until the weekly reset tomorrow. But there isn’t much to look forward to in terms of Exotics.
The Exotic weapon this week is Arbalest, a linear fusion rifle that’s also a Kinetic Primary weapon. It’s capable of firing slugs that can highly damage elemental shields and after breaking an enemy’s shield, they become more vulnerable to Kinetic damage for a brief time. Though it was nerfed for PvP, for just 29 Legendary Shards, it’s still a decent weapon all in all.
Exotic Armor this week includes Orpheus Rig (Hunter boots), Lion Rampant (Titan boots) and Aeon Soul (Warlock gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Lion Rampant is recommended for Crucible players due to its in-air hip-fire accuracy and added maneuverability. Orpheus Rig provides more shots for Moebius Quiver while generating energy for each enemy affected by the Deadfall anchors (though it’s since been nerfed heavily). Aeon Soul has seen some buffs, which you can read more about here, and is now somewhat useful.
